An Annual Memorial Event Organised by Dr Klown in collaboration with the leadership of Mater Dei Hospital
In 2026, Dr Klown established an annual memorial event to honour children who passed away following illness, whilst also recognising the strength and resilience of their families. The intention is to offer a gentle, dignified space for remembrance, open to families, hospital staff, and others who shared in the children’s care, including our own Klown Doctors.
The selected date, 1st June, aligns with International Children’s Day and the Global Day of Parents—balancing the celebration of children with an acknowledgment of parents and caregivers.
Following the success of the first Memorial Event on 1st June 2026 at the SAMOC Internal Garden inside the Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, we invite you to register below should you be interested in attending next year’s edition in 2027.
The event consists of a Holy Mass, some speeches of remembrance and a standing reception allowing for relaxation and networking in a comfortable environment.
